Was it magic? Yes it was. WWDMAGIC was incredibly hectic and amazingly fun, and it was pure magic. We were at booth #74830 and have to say a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by.
We got to talk to so many people about Jewel Toned and create some buzz around the next generation of shapewear – Junior Shapewear. To clarify, in fashion industry terms it's "Junior Shapewear", but that doesn't mean we're designing for teens. It's the same as anyone who shops at Forever21.
Our booth was full of Jewel Toned Babes (and by babes we mean smart, confident, successful women). There were also plenty of Major Mini Dresses and a few of the designs and colors that are being launched next for Jewel Toned. You'll see more of them in a few months.
Our CEO and designer, Rachael McCrary, was the captain of the booth and Barbara Walters (the Mini Pom) was the star of the booth. And possible all of Las Vegas. Barbara gets tons of attention wherever she goes.
We learned so much at WWDMAGIC, but these three things stand out:
1. Everyone has at least one Spanx Horror Story
2. WWDMAGIC is a great place to get direct feedback on the products and colors we have in development
3. Next year, bring plants
