When I first pulled the Jewel Toned Major Mini Dress shaper out of its box, I thought, “How cute, Rachael made a dress for my thigh!” This stuff looks extra tiny because it’s not regular clothing – it’s shapewear. But the second I put it on, I got it.
It stretches to fit your curves. The result was immediately so comfortable and supportive, the first thing I did was take off my underwire bra (freedom!). It wasn’t tight enough to hinder my breathing or feel uncomfortable, it just did the trick of smoothing everything out.
We just sent our friend Maddie a Jewel Toned Contour Dress shaper to get some feedback on the fit. She didn’t try it on for about a week, I think for the same reasons – it looked so small out of the package she thought it would be an unpleasant experience. She postponed it until I encouraged her to, “just try it on.” I would never want my friends to be uncomfortable, but I knew exactly what she was going through. Her response was the text above. Trying it on changed her mind.
Here's how Maddie and I both styled the Jewel Toned Contour Dress shaper – with a leather jacket. We're both 5 feet tall, so if you're taller (chances are, you are) it will be just a bit shorter on you. It's perfect to wear under mini dresses and miniskirts, or over tights and leggings. If you have the contour dress, show us how you're wearing it by tagging us on Instagram and using #cyos (create your own style).
