How did you decide to start your style blog?

I started my blog 2 years ago while I was in Australia. It began as a travel diary of all the places I've been then it slowly transitioned into a personal style blog. I was soul searching at the time and I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. I fell in love with fashion when I was 3 years old watching my mother dress up and copying everything that she wore. She would complain how I would ruin her lipsticks and walk around in her heels. Then at 8 years old, I was inspired by FTV (Fashion TV), comic books and anime so I drew up hundreds of fashion sketches and dressed up my Barbie dolls accordingly. My love for fashion continues on until today. Two and half years ago, I quit my job and left my financial security to start fresh in the world I was afraid to enter, fashion. And, no more income. This was the day I decided to start my own fashion blog. My blog is a platform I use to inspire women like me and let my creativity run free with my own brushes and paint palette.

How would you describe your look?

I love to mix current season key pieces with vintage-esque finds and wild investment items. My looks are inspired by art, design and everything that surrounds me.

What do you wear most often (be honest!):

I've been wearing my Vince Yaeger loafers a lot. Although it isn't the most comfortable shoes I have but it works with every outfit when heels are not in my favour due to snow and slushy streets.

What's your prediction for Spring/Summer style trends?

Culottes are making a huge comeback in short and longer lengths. The pant legs are so wide, it looks like you're wearing a skirt. It is going to be the new trouser silhouette to try.

What are you most looking forward to about warmer weather?

Shooting in warmer weather and sitting in the patio with good company. I wish everyday that I was living in a warmer climate. The frigid weather gives me hives so it's hard to shoot outdoors at this time of year.

How did you style your Jewel Toned?

I styled the major mini dress as a skirt with a sleeveless peplum top. Whether you're going on a hot date or kicking it with your girls over drinks, it is the perfect outfit to showcase your style and spontaneity.

What’s next for you?

I have a few projects I'm working on for this year and I can't wait to get it out to my followers and everyone who have supported me. Tons of new sponsorships on its way so it's going to be a busier year than the last. Being very busy is good, it means bigger and better things are coming my way.
