What’s your Blog/Twitter/Instagram: facebook.com/saraontheinternet instagram.com/saraontheinternet twitter is @internetsara
What you do for money: I write SEO articles and clickbait blog posts, as well as model
What you do for fun: Couch and Netflix mostly these days, I also enjoy hiking and doing outdoorsy stuff when the weather permits (in Vegas it only permits for like, three months out of the year, ha)
Your Life Motto: Read more books
The Most Played Song On your iTunes: I don’t have one, but the Cut Copy Pandora station is almost always on
The book you’re currently reading: Hogfather by Terry Pratchett
The outfit you wear most often (be honest!): Workout leggings and a tank top
What did you want to be when you were little? I don’t think I really had any aspirations, but at some point in the middle of my career as an exotic dancer my mother brought me this thing that I had filled out at school when I was 4 where I said I wanted to be a dancer, and told me no one could ever tell me I didn’t follow my dreams
And how did you get into alt modeling? I did Suicidegirls to get back at a bully who wouldn’t leave me alone, no matter what I said or did she wouldn’t quit… so I decided that as soon as I turned 18 I was going to try to get on Suicidegirls, originally I didn’t even know what it was, only that she kept trying to get on it and got rejected repeatedly. I was accepted on the first try, and thus began my career as a model.
How would you describe your style? Is lazy chic a thing? I like stuff that is stretchy and comfortable, yet looks good at the same time… which is why JewelToned is absolutely perfect for me.
What’s your inspiration/motivation? The internet is my inspiration, I love seeing what is going on all over the world and reading about the history of things. My motivation though… is probably green tea.
What are some of your favorite labels? I’m such a nerd, I do a lot of my shopping on Amazon, so I end up with crazy off label stuff from China or whatever as well as label stuff. I buy based off of reviews. I’m a big fan of these Moving Comfort brand workout leggings right now in the in-between season in Vegas (it’s still 80-90 degrees every day), and the Michi ones with the mesh because they’re stylish but also functional. JewelToned makes my favorite little black dress for when I go out, and skirt that’s great to throw on over tights or just with boots and a crop top.
How did you style your Jewel Toned? One of my favorite things about it is that it can be layered and dressed up or down. The shapewear dress is gorgeous on its own with heels for a date night, dressed up with accessories, maybe tights and a sweater for daytime wear. The skirt goes great with a tee and boots, or with a bra tank & blazer for a bit of a funky professional look.
What’s next for you? I hope to keep making YouTube videos, though I don’t delude myself that I’ll ever end up with another that has over 24 million views (!!!!!), I’d be happy just to entertain the masses a little :) and of course I’d love to keep up modeling & writing.
